Preaching to the Choir

Ten pages due
Ten pages due two days from you
Whispered delay
Just stop and pray

Sleep away your demons, friend
Angels guard you in the night
Blessings shall on you descend
Rested now embrace the light
Its pure glow shall you defend
Never more give in to fright
All’s well, happy in the end

Unexpected treat
Like kitten’s tummy rumbler
Puuuurfact makes me smile

I’d like to thank muzzleflashing for the nomination.  Be sure to check out his blog–it’s super awesome: poetry+picture combination at its finest.  http://muzzleflashing.com/2011/09/11/i-know-why/

I’d like to nominate Poetry & Icecream.  She always manages to provide incredible insights with her words.  Plus she just has the best moniker in the world.   http://normamartiri.wordpress.com/2011/06/15/cambodian-flower/

My apologies for making this such a cluttered post–This is currently my favorite picture, though.  I would not consider myself a photographer in the least, so it’s not that this picture is technically brilliant.  I just love it.

Comforting thoughts for the living and also works as a blessing or eulogy for someone who died. Lovely image, too. Nice work!
