Bones of skeleton

And skin
like porcelain here we are
again cold endearment
tossing umbrellas into the wind in your smile
talk a mile a minute experiencing full force of gale
drinking stale coffee while saying nothing at all
mincing minutes I’ll never hold you close
lopsided interests never smell the rose
knife throwers without targets warming mouths by the fire
masking hearts that long for silence burn my tongue
cease the dire violence consequences flow
and repent among the best of us
from words you never sent the rest of us
frills of lovers come and went deal with the flood
and the pack a sack lunch updates never ending
cause to munch my mimicking, pretending on the train
to seem small and impregnated fleeting view through pane
with little meaning at all shooting stars reveal pain
settle once again as the hall begins to narrow
feel my walk down memory lane bones shake to the marrow
climb the ladder to fame and the needles start to sew
peer from picture frame making coats of fallen snow
pillage daily for the plunder feel the weight of shame
items that once torn asunder fall to floor level
just dissolve and drift away crawl through separate revelries
motes of dust in beams of day sing of devilry.

This poem conveys loneliness and sadness for what was yearned for but did not find. Well expressed.
