Smells like dust and bricks:
No one likes renovations
Until they’re complete.
I'm just a poor poet, writing the world as I know it: ultraviolet and lead.

This makes me think of C.S. Lewis’ stuff in Mere Xianity about Him moving into your “house” and remodeling everything far beyond what you’d imagined. I like it!

Ah, I don’t remember that part–it’s been so long since I read that and I loved all the parts I read, but never had time to actually finish it. Perhaps this summer I’ll do so! 🙂
