The needle meets the thread
And shaking hands
They lock their gazes
Exchanging glances
Start their dances
A wandering maze
To raise the dead.

The spinning pair
Mends jagged edges of tear after tear–
Refurbished me, refurbished Claire
Pierced but ultimately spared
Greater snare.

Join the crowd
All graceful bowed
In reverence with clasped hands
A grateful stance
To the Author of their story,
Giver of their glory.

    Almost reverential 🙂

Spinning, jagged edges smoothing one another. What an image! I am always in need of another spinning.
