A Sunny Scene

She wore her black bikini
That just clung to her hips,
Her over-sized sunglasses
Perched above her lips.

I’ve never worn a speedo
(And I didn’t wear one now),
But I donned my bathing suit
And brought along my towel.

Our sandals left small footprints
On the white, white path below;
We shivered slightly through our smiles,
Building castles out of snow.
