What’s Mine is Minefield

The feeling of entitlement is a disease not easily cured.

I’m sure as it steals from shore to shining shore
That more heartache will follow in the wake of teal tomorrow,
A pure unborrowed sorrow like the harrowing of war.
The antidote: be generous; leave your heart an open door
For nothing that you ever have is ever solely yours.
